The culmination of the year for the Dollars for Scholars Board of Directors is our annual Awards Night; the evening when our deserving students receive their scholarships. Our ceremony takes place in the SHS auditorium and includes board members, memorial families, school administrators, teachers, business and professional donors, and of course, the fortunate recipients and their families. Each year, a person of interest imparts words of wisdom to our scholarship winners as they receive their scholarship from officers of the Board. The ceremony is followed by a reception in the cafeteria, where recipients have the opportunity to meet those who contributed to their scholarship or family members of those who are memorialized by a scholarship. The evening is one to remember for all of those involved.
