texas hold'em:
Beginning in 2007, Dollars for Scholars has been involved in the Games of Chance event at Rockingham Park Race Track. Ten times a year, members of our Board of Directors spend time at the race track registering players for texas hold’em, black jack, craps, roulette and other various games of chance. Texas Hold'em nights are held 7 days a week 360 days a year and is a professionally managed event, run by Rockingham Gaming, LLC and Rockingham Park. Dollars for Scholars is one of 36 different charities that use games of chance as an opportunity to raise funds for non-profit organizational use.
