walk-a-thon:

Every spring Dollars for Scholars holds a 5K (3.1 miles) Walk-a-thon to raise money for Dollars for Scholars. As always, 100% of the funds raised are placed in the General Fund.
Two trophies are awarded: One to the team that enrolls the highest number of participants and another to the team that raises the most money for the Walk-a-thon.
The Walk begins at 9:00am at Salem High School on the first Sunday in June. Bottled water, coffee and snacks are provided to the walkers, thanks to donations by Dunkin Donuts and Coca Cola.
Dollars for Scholars would like to invite local non-profit groups to partner with us. In return for your participation your non profit will receive 50% of the money you raised back in the form of a donation to your cause (The other 50% goes to the Dollars for Scholars general fund). You can not lose! Dollars for Scholars does all the work and sends you a check once the final numbers are in! -Beginning at Salem High School
-Take left onto Geremonty Drive
-Take left onto Main Street
-Take left onto Route 28 (Broadway)
-Take left onto Veterans Memorial Parkway
-Take left onto Geremonty Drive
-Arrive back at Salem High School
